| Basis | Average of % marks in Matriculation (min. 50% aggregate) and ITI, with equal weightage to both |
| Medical | Selected candidates may be asked to bring a medical certificate at the time of document verification (signed by Government authorized Doctor Gazetted, not below rank of Asstt. Surgeon of Central/State Hospital) |
| Contract | Selected candidates (or guardian if minor) must enter into a contract of apprenticeship with the employer |
Apprenticeship Period & Stipend
| Apprenticeship Duration | 1 year for each trade |
| Stipend | As per rules of State Government of Chhattisgarh (paid during training period) |
| Post-Training Obligation | It is not obligatory for the employer to offer employment after training completion, nor for the apprentice to accept any employment, if offered. Training will be terminated after completion of apprenticeship. |
