The UPSC Engineering Services Mains Admit Card 2026 has been officially released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on 12 June 2026 at its online portal upsconline.nic.in. Candidates who qualified the Engineering Services Preliminary Examination 2026 can now download their ESE Mains Hall Ticket by logging in with their Enrollment Number, Registration Number, or Date of Birth. How to Download Admit Card ?
- Open your browser and visit the official UPSC online portal at upsconline.nic.in.
- On the homepage, locate the Admit Card / Examination section.
- Click on the link for “Engineering Services (ESE) Mains Admit Card 2026”.
- Enter your Registration ID or Enrollment Number and Date of Birth on the login page.
- Click Submit to access your admit card on the screen.
- Carefully verify all printed details including your name, roll number, exam date, reporting time, and examination centre address.
- Download the admit card PDF and save it on your device.
- Take a colour printout of the admit card to carry to the examination centre on exam day.
UPSC ESE 2026 – Selection Process
- The UPSC Engineering Services Examination follows a three-stage selection process. Candidates who have downloaded the mains admit card have already cleared Stage 1.
- Stage 1 – Preliminary Examination: Objective-type written exam conducted on 08 February 2026. Results were declared on 26 February 2026.
- Stage 2 – Mains Examination: Conventional (descriptive) written exam scheduled on 21 June 2026. Admit card released on 12 June 2026.
- Stage 3 – Personality Test (Interview): Conducted for candidates who qualify the Mains. Interview schedule will be announced after Mains results.
- The final merit list is prepared based on combined performance in the Mains Examination and Interview.
