The age of the candidate must be not less than 18 years and not more than 33 years as on 3 August 2026. Reserved category candidates, women, ex-servicemen, and PwD candidates are eligible for age relaxation as per the table below.

POST DETAILS, GSSSB X Ray Assistant ELIGIBILITY and QUALIFICATION:
Candidates applying for GSSSB X-Ray Assistant Recruitment 2026 must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC/12th) examination with Physics, Chemistry, and English as subjects, conducted by the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. This qualification standard has been fixed as per the Health and Family Welfare Department’s resolution dated 18 November 2024. In addition, candidates must possess basic computer knowledge as prescribed under the Gujarat Civil Services Classification (General) Rules, 1967, and adequate knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi.

GSSSB X-Ray Assistant Selection Process 2026
Selection for the GSSSB X-Ray Assistant post is based on a single-stage computer-based/OMR written examination followed by document verification, so candidates do not need to appear for multiple test stages. The exam consists of objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) split into Part-A and Part-B.

How to Apply Online for GSSSB X-Ray Assistant Recruitment 2026
- Visit the official website ojas.gujarat.gov.in.
- Click on “Online Application,” select “Apply,” and choose GSSSB.
- Select Advertisement No. 433/2026-27, X-Ray Assistant, Class-3 and click Apply.
- Click “Apply Now,” then “Skip” to open the application format, and fill in Personal Details first.
- Fill in Educational Details next.
- Accept the terms under “Assurance” by selecting “Yes” and click “Save” to complete the application.
- Note down the Application Number generated after saving.
- Upload your photograph and signature – photo size should be 5 cm height x 3.6 cm width, and signature should be 2.5 cm height x 7.5 cm width, both in JPG format not exceeding 15 KB each.
- Go to “Confirm Application” under the Online Application tab, enter your Application Number and Date of Birth, review all details carefully, and click “Confirm Application.” No changes are allowed after confirmation.
- Note the Confirmation Number generated – this is required for fee payment and printing the form.
- Pay the application fee online, then download and print the confirmation receipt and the application form for future reference.
