IBPS Specialist Officer Selection Process 2026
- Online Preliminary Examination – Tentatively in August 2026; candidates must clear individual cut-offs in each of four tests.
- Preliminary Result – Declared in September/October 2026.
- Online Main Examination – Tentatively in November 2026; scores from this stage alone are used for interview shortlisting and final merit.
- Main Exam Result – Declared in November 2026.
- Common Interview – Conducted by Participating Banks and coordinated by Nodal Banks in November/December 2026; total 100 marks with minimum qualifying marks of 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).
- Provisional Allotment – Expected in January 2027, based on merit-cum-preference with an 80:20 weightage between Main Exam and Interview.

HOW TO APPLY IBPS CRP SPL-XVI Online 2026
- Visit the official website www.ibps.in and click on the “CRP SPL” link on the homepage.
- Select “Click Here to Apply Online for CRP-Specialist Officers (CRP SPL-XVI)” to open the application form.
- Click “Click Here for New Registration” and enter basic details to generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password.
- Log in again using the provisional credentials to complete the application form.
- Upload photograph, signature, left thumb impression, handwritten declaration, and SSC/SSLC/10th standard certificate as per specifications.
- Capture and upload a live photograph via webcam or mobile phone.
- Verify all details carefully, since no changes are allowed after clicking “Complete Registration” (except during the 2-day Edit Window).
- Pay the applicable application fee online via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
- Download and print the system-generated application form and e-receipt for future reference.
