HPCL Officer Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

Candidates preparing for the HPCL Junior Executive and Officer Recruitment 2026 should understand that selection involves multiple stages depending on the post applied for. The process combines a Computer Based Test with further shortlisting rounds.

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT): Consists of General Aptitude (English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation) and Technical/Professional Knowledge related to the qualifying degree. Tentatively scheduled for August/September 2026.
  2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must upload/submit supporting documents as per merit and category-wise ratio.
  3. Group Task and/or Personal Interview: Conducted for candidates who clear the CBT and document scrutiny stage.
  4. Psychometric Assessment: May be conducted before or after the Group Task/Personal Interview.
  5. Physical Fitness Efficiency Test (PFET): Applicable where required – includes Working at Height Test, Endurance Test, and Agility Test, conducted after the medical exam.
  6. Pre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME): Conducted in HPCL nominated/empanelled hospitals; there is no provision for re-examination or appeal.
