POST DETAILS, ELIGIBILITY and QUALIFICATION:

Post	Educational Qualification
BE Apprentice (Electrical & Electronics Roster)	BE / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a State/Central Government recognized university or Government-aided institution. Degree must be obtained after January 2022. Degree Certificate / Provisional Degree Certificate (PDC) holders are eligible.
Diploma Apprentice (Electrical Roster)	3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a State/Central Government recognized polytechnic or institution. Diploma must be obtained after January 2022. Diploma Certificate holders are eligible.
Desirable	Ability to read and write Kannada. Karnataka state candidates will be given preference.

GESCOM Apprenticeship Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted for apprenticeship training on the basis of merit derived from their marks in the qualifying examination (BE / Diploma).

The application must clearly state “For 2026–27 Apprenticeship Training – BE / Diploma holder” at the top. Candidates will be selected purely on merit based on qualifying examination marks. No written examination or interview is mentioned in the notification.

HOW TO APPLY

• Applications must be submitted offline only – either in person or by post. Online applications are not accepted.
• Completed application forms (self-written or typed) along with all required documents in self-attested copies must be submitted to the Principal Managing Officer (HR & Admin), GESCOM Corporate Office, Station Road, Jestaon, Kalaburagi – 585102, on or before 05-06-2026 by 5:00 PM.
• Applications submitted by post must reach the above address within the stipulated date and time.
• Incomplete applications or applications without required documents will be rejected.
• No correspondence of any kind (letters or phone calls) will be entertained. Candidates are advised to write “For 2026–27 Apprenticeship Training – BE / Diploma holder” clearly on the envelope.
