POST DETAILS, ELIGIBILITY and QUALIFICATION:

Criteria	Details
Minimum Educational Qualification	Must be able to speak Kannada (Kannada Maatanaadalu Barabeku). No formal educational qualification specified.
Experience (Priority Criteria)	Must have worked as Pourakarmika, Loaders, UGD Helpers, Cleaners, or Helpers on outsource/daily wage/contract basis for a minimum of 1 year in Urban Local Bodies of the district. ESI/PF payment records or Bank Passbook or Attendance Records as proof required.
Nationality / Domicile	Karnataka State; must be a local resident eligible for municipal sanitation work in the respective ULB area
Physical Fitness	Must be in good health and free from any disease. Medical Fitness Certificate from a Medical Officer is mandatory at time of joining.
Notary Affidavit	Selected candidates must mandatorily submit a Notary Affidavit stating they will not demand regularisation/permanency individually or through unions, and will not approach any court for regularisation.
Manual Scavengers Act	10% of total vacancies are reserved for victims identified under the Manual Scavengers Act or their family members (husband/wife/son/daughter). This reservation does not follow general reservation rules as per Social Welfare Department guidelines.

2	Family member (one per family) of a Pourakarmika who died due to COVID-19 or other reasons while working on outsource/daily wage/contract basis in district Urban Local Bodies	Death Certificate, Service proof of deceased Pourakarmika
3	Local sanitation workers with experience working for minimum 1 year as Loaders, UGD Helpers, Cleaners, Helpers in Waste Processing Units, Public Toilets, Zero Waste Management Units on outsource basis in district Urban Local Bodies	ESI/PF payment records OR Bank Passbook showing salary credit OR Attendance records
4	Victims identified under the Manual Scavengers Act or their family members (husband/wife/son/daughter) – 10% of total vacancies reserved for this category	Certificate from competent authority under Manual Scavengers Act; if eligible candidates not available, posts filled from other categories

HOW TO APPLY
