Selection Process

The selection process consists of 3 successive stages – Physical Measurement (qualifying), Physical Efficiency Test (30 marks), and final Merit List (60 marks total including bonus marks). Medically fit candidates from the final merit list will be selected.

Stage 1 – Physical Measurement – ​​Qualifying

Candidates failing physical measurement are declared unfit at that stage itself and removed from the selection process.

• The form is available on the Facebook page Uttarakhand Home Guards and from the office notice board, Nanda Ki Chowki, Chakrata Road, Dehradun. Hard copy applications duly filled must be submitted to the office on any working day from 01.05.2026 to 22.05.2026 (by 11:59 PM).
• Applications can also be submitted at: Jila Magistrate / SDM / Block / Tehsil / District Employment Office / Senior Superintendent of Police / District Sainik Welfare Office / Sol-Jar Board notice boards (as printed proforma, self-attested).
