POST DETAILS, ELIGIBILITY and QUALIFICATION:
- Only female candidates are eligible for the advertised posts.
- The applicant must be a resident of the same Gram Sabha/Ward for which she is applying.
- Income and caste certificates must be issued by a competent authority and be digitally signed, verifiable online through the eDistrict UP portal.
- Income certificates must be issued as per UP Government Revenue Section-9 Order No. 3959/1-9-11-Sa0-9 dated 30-09-2021 (as amended), by a competent authority, and must be verifiable online.
- As per government order, a family in which one member is already selected as Anganwadi Karyakatri cannot have another member selected as Anganwadi Sahayika at the same Anganwadi Centre, and vice versa.

Educational Qualification
- Minimum qualification: Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent.
- Maximum qualification: Postgraduate.
- Merit will be prepared by adding marks obtained from Intermediate up to the highest qualification (up to Postgraduate) held by the candidate.
Selection Priority
- First priority is given to widowed or legally divorced women from families living below the poverty line (BPL).
- Next priority is given to other women from families living below the poverty line.
- If no candidate from the below-poverty-line category is available, candidates from above-poverty-line families are selected in the same order of priority described above.
Anganwadi UP Selection Process
- Merit is prepared by adding marks scored from Intermediate up to the candidate’s highest educational qualification (maximum Postgraduate).
- Priority category candidates (widowed/divorced BPL women, then other BPL women) are considered first, followed by above-poverty-line candidates in the same order.
- Only candidates residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward as the vacant post are considered.
- Errors or incomplete applications are summarily rejected; no offline forms are accepted at any stage.
