Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released a notification for the post of RPSC APO Recruitment 2026. Interested candidates must fulfill all the eligibility criteria and apply online.   • (1) Degree in Law (Professional) or integrated Law Course from a University established by law in India.
  • (2) Working Knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri Script and knowledge of Rajasthani dialects and social customs of Rajasthan.
OTR RequirementMandatory One Time Registration (OTR) on SSO Portal (https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in) before applying online through RPSC website.
Children LimitCandidates shall not have more than two living children. However, if a candidate had only one child from a previous delivery but more than one child from a subsequent single delivery, they shall not be disqualified.
DomicileReserved category benefits applicable only to Rajasthan State domiciles. Candidates from other states belonging to SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS are treated as General category.

Selection Process :

Stage 1 – Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)

The Preliminary Examination is an objective type examination. In the preliminary examination, 70% weightage will be given to the Law paper (subjects prescribed in syllabus) and 30% weightage to test proficiency in Hindi and English language. The marks obtained in the preliminary examination shall NOT be counted towards the final selection.

  • Minimum qualifying marks for each paper: 40% (relaxed by 5% for SC/ST candidates).
  • The level of Paper II (Language) shall be that of Senior Secondary (Class XII).
  • It shall be compulsory to appear in each and every paper of the written test.
  • The Law paper is designed to test practical knowledge in criminal law, procedure, and framing of charges in criminal cases.
  • Ex-Servicemen and PwBD candidates are entitled to minimum qualifying marks relaxation as per Rajasthan Civil Services rules and Rajasthan Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2018 respectively.

Paper II – Language (100 Marks)

  • Visit the official RPSC website: https://rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in and read the complete notification and Instructions for Applicants before applying.
  • Click on the Apply Online link or log in to the SSO portal at https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in using your SSO ID to access the Recruitment Portal (G2C portal).
  • If you are a new user, complete One Time Registration (OTR) by providing your name, father’s name (if available from Aadhaar), date of birth, gender, and Aadhaar card / Janaadhar card details. Upload a live self-photo and scan of OTR documents.
  • After completing OTR, log in from SSO portal → Citizen Apps (G2C) → Recruitment Portal and fill the online application form using your OTR number.
  • Important: No amendment to name, father’s name, date of birth, or gender can be made in OTR Profile once created without Aadhaar/Janaadhar correction. Ensure all Aadhaar/Janaadhar details are corrected before completing OTR.
  • During online application, a Live Photo will be captured via OTP camera. Submit the form only after verifying the live photo is clear.
  • Candidates must scan and upload thumb impression (left hand) and signature along with the online application.
  • Candidates who wish to avail scribe facility must mandatorily select the scribe option in their online application form.
  • All educational qualification and experience details as at the application closing date must be clearly entered in the OTR/application form.
  • After submission, an Application Number will be generated. If no Application Number is received, it means the form has not been submitted successfully.
  • Candidates must take a printout of the finally submitted application form for future reference.
