Option (iv)	M.B.A. (Tourism and Hotel Management) from Govt. recognized Universities affiliated to UGC / AICTE / Govt. of India / State Govt.

 Selection Process :

Stage 2	Walk-in Interview at IRCTC Zonal Office, Kolkata on 18, 19 or 20 May 2026 (10:30 AM to 04:30 PM) with Application Form, original documents and one set of attested photocopies
Stage 3	Personal Interview based on credentials; selection in order of merit
Stage 4	Verification of antecedents and medical fitness test as prescribed by IRCTC
Stage 5	Offer of engagement issued to suitable candidates; selected candidates to furnish security deposit of Rs. 25,000/- (DD payable at Kolkata)

Scope of Work

The Hospitality Monitor will be responsible for the following duties at IRCTC:

Supervision/monitoring of food production, quality, and services in nominated mobile/static catering units

Ensuring compliance with company policies and standard hospitality procedures/practices

Ensuring proper men & material for nominated mobile/static catering units

Resolving customer/passenger care related issues and effective complaint management

Collecting feedback, analysis, and course correction

Ensuring implementation of statutory compliance or regulations as applicable

Supervising and educating staff in efficient upkeep of equipment and devices

Coordinating with various departments, offices and business partners

Any other responsibility given by IRCTC from time to time

HOW TO APPLY

• Eligible and qualified candidates must attend the walk-in interview on any of the three dates: 18th, 19th or 20th May 2026 between 10:30 AM and 04:30 PM at IRCTC Zonal Office, 3, Koilaghat Street, Ground Floor, Kolkata – 700 001. There is no prior online application on the IRCTC website. Candidates must fill the Application Form (proforma attached to the notification) complete in all respects and submit it at the venue of the interview.
• Candidates must bring the complete Application Form along with original documents, one set of attested copies of required documents (caste, education & experience), and three recent passport size photographs. In the absence of any required original document, the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the walk-in interview.
• Those working in Govt./PSUs may apply through proper channel/submit NOC at the time of interview or submit a proper relieving letter from the present employer in the event of selection in IRCTC. In case of extension of interview, candidates will have to arrange their own stay and food. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview.
• Any corrigendum/clarifications to this notification (including change of date and place of interview), if necessary, will be uploaded on IRCTC website at www.irctc.com under HR&Career > Recruitment > New Opening only; no separate press coverage will be given in newspapers.
