The Border Roads Organisation (BRO), under its General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF) wing, has declared the written examination result for the post of Vehicle Mechanic against Advertisement No. 02/2025, against a total of 324 vacancies. Out of 5,488 candidates who appeared for the written test, 481 candidates have been shortlisted to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Trade Test (TT). Shortlisted candidates must report at the GREF Centre, Pune, on 24 August, 28 August, or 1 September 2026.

Shortlisted candidates must undergo PET and TT at the GREF Centre, Pune. Reporting is scheduled across three dates depending on the candidate’s control number batch:
- Report at BN Gate, GREF Centre by 0830 hrs on the assigned date (24 Aug, 28 Aug, or 1 Sep 2026).
- Bring the call letter sent via registered/speed post to the address given in the application form.
- If the call letter is not received in time, a printout of the official result notice may be used as authority to report for the test.
- Absent candidates will not get another chance and will be treated as “FAIL” with no further claim.
