DBT Scientist C Recruitment 2026 Overview :
The Department of Biotechnology (DBT) has released the admit card for the Scientist ‘C’ recruitment exam 2026. Candidates who applied for the 10 vacant Scientist ‘C’ (Group A, Gazetted) posts can now download their hall ticket from the official recruitment portal, rcbdbt26.rcb.ac.in/RCBDBT/. The admit card carries the candidate’s exam date, reporting time, test city, and venue details, and must be carried to the exam hall along with a valid photo ID.

How to Download DBT Scientist C Admit Card 2026 ?
- Visit the official recruitment portal: rcbdbt26.rcb.ac.in/RCBDBT/
- Look for the link “Admit Card with Test City Details” on the homepage.
- Log in using your registration number/email ID and password or date of birth.
- Your admit card will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and take a clear printout for the exam day.
- Carry the admit card along with a valid original photo ID proof to the exam centre.
DBT Scientist C Selection Process 2026
- Stage 1 – Computer Based Test (CBT): 200 objective-type MCQs (100 General Aptitude + 100 Scientific/subject-related) for 200 marks, with a duration of 120 minutes (2 hours). There is negative marking of 0.5 marks for every wrong answer.
- Stage 2 – Personal Interview: 200 marks, for candidates shortlisted based on CBT merit (generally up to 5 times the number of vacancies).
