| DGCA Qualification (Mandatory) | Must have passed all B1 or B2 Modules of DGCA knowledge examinations; OR hold a B1 DGCA License or B2 DGCA License within AIESL capability. RT License would be preferred. |
| Minimum Aviation Experience | Minimum 5 years of current practical maintenance experience on operating aircraft as prescribed under CAR 66, out of which at least 2 years must be in the services of AIESL. |
| Parent Vertical | Candidates will remain in their parent vertical (AIESL / AIX / AASL) and continue with the same type of employment arrangement (Permanent / Fixed Term) after acquiring requisite qualification and absorption in the respective cadre. |
| Fresh Application Requirement | Candidates who had applied against any previous AIESL notification for Trainee AME must apply afresh – prior applications will not be considered. |
