How to Raise Objection Against Answer Key ?
If you disagree with any answer in the provisional key, follow these steps:
- Log in to your candidate portal on ncert.nic.in
- Go to the “Challenge/Objection” section
- Select the question(s) you want to challenge
- Upload supporting documents or references (if required)
- Pay the objection fee (if applicable, refundable if accepted)
- Submit before the deadline
How to Calculate Your Score Using Answer Key ?
Total Score = (Correct Answers × Marks per Question) – (Wrong Answers × Negative Marking)
Marking Scheme for NCERT Exam:
- Correct Answer: +1 mark
- Wrong Answer: -0.25 mark (negative marking)
- Unattempted: 0 marks
