  • Your answer key with recorded responses will appear on screen
  • Download and save the PDF for future reference

How to Raise Objection Against Answer Key ?

If you disagree with any answer in the provisional key, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your candidate portal on ncert.nic.in
  2. Go to the “Challenge/Objection” section
  3. Select the question(s) you want to challenge
  4. Upload supporting documents or references (if required)
  5. Pay the objection fee (if applicable, refundable if accepted)
  6. Submit before the deadline

How to Calculate Your Score Using Answer Key ?

Total Score = (Correct Answers × Marks per Question) – (Wrong Answers × Negative Marking)

Marking Scheme for NCERT Exam:

  • Correct Answer: +1 mark
  • Wrong Answer: -0.25 mark (negative marking)
  • Unattempted: 0 marks
