The Reserve Bank of India has officially released the RBI Grade B Phase 1 Admit Card 2026 on its official portal at rbi.org.in. Candidates who applied for the Grade B Officer (General Cadre) post can download their Phase 1 call letter using their Registration Number and Date of Birth. The Phase 1 exam for the General post was conducted on 13th June 2026, while the Phase 2 Mains exam is scheduled for 25th July 2026 and the Mains admit card is now the next major release that candidates are eagerly waiting for.

RBI Grade B Phase 1 Shift Timing 2026

The Phase 1 exam for General posts was conducted on 13th June 2026 in a single shift. Candidates were required to arrive at the exam centre well before the gate closing time. The general shift schedule for the exam is outlined below.

RBI Grade B Exam Pattern 2026

Understanding the exam pattern helps candidates prepare effectively for both phases of the selection process. The RBI Grade B selection consists of Phase 1 (Prelims), Phase 2 (Mains), and an Interview round.

Phase 1 Exam Pattern – Objective Type (Qualifying)

Phase 1 is a 2-hour online objective exam carrying 200 marks across 200 questions. Since it is only qualifying, candidates must clear it to advance to Mains, but these marks do not count toward the final score.

Phase 2 (Mains) Exam Pattern – Objective + Descriptive

Phase 2 is the main scoring round with 300 marks spread across 3 papers. Both objective and descriptive components are tested. Marks from this stage directly determine the final merit list.

  • Step 1: Visit the official RBI recruitment portal at https://opportunities.rbi.org.in/
  • Step 2: Look for the admit card link under the “Call Letter” section select the link for the relevant phase (Phase 1 or Phase 2).
  • Step 3: A login page will appear on your screen.
  • Step 4: Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth / Password in the respective fields.
  • Step 5: Click on the Submit button. Your RBI Grade B Admit Card 2026 will be displayed on the screen.
  • Step 6: Carefully verify all the details printed on the call letter name, roll number, exam centre, and shift timing.
  • Step 7: Download and take at least 2 printouts to carry on exam day.
  • Step 8: Read all exam day instructions mentioned on the call letter before the examination.
  • Carrying the right documents to the examination centre is mandatory. Entry will not be granted if the candidate fails to produce valid identity proof along with the printed admit card.
  • Every candidate must bring the following on exam day:
  • Printed copy of the RBI Grade B Admit Card 2026, 2 recent passport-size photographs, one valid original Photo ID proof such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving Licence, and a photocopy of the same Photo ID.
  • PwBD candidates should additionally refer to the Instructions for PwBD Candidates using Scribe and/or Compensatory Time document available on the official website.
