How These UPPBPB Results Were Finalized ?
- The provisional answer key was published on 29 May 2026, and candidates were invited to submit online objections regarding any question or answer option.
- After the objection window closed, the Board examined each objection and either retained, revised, or cancelled the relevant question.
- Marks allotted to cancelled questions were distributed equally among the remaining questions in the same paper, applying the principle laid down in Writ Petition No. 2669/2009 (M/B), Pawan Kumar Aghari vs. State of U.P. Public Service Commission.
- Final merit lists were then prepared strictly on the basis of marks scored in the written exam, and selection lists were published as annexures to the result notice.
