  • Applications must be submitted online only through the BPSC Online Application Portal (bpsconline.bihar.gov.in), accessible on the official website https://bpsc.bihar.gov.in. Hard copy applications will not be accepted under any circumstances. The online portal will be active from 07-05-2026 to 31-05-2026. New users must complete One Time Registration (OTR) on the BPSC portal – only one OTR per candidate is permitted. Multiple OTR registrations can lead to rejection of candidature.
  • All supporting documents must be uploaded in PDF format (max 100 KB per document) at the time of filling the online application. A valid and working email ID and mobile number are mandatory and must be kept active until final results are published. Candidates must upload a live webcam photograph during application – the background must be white or light-coloured with sufficient light. Hindi and English signatures must both be scanned and uploaded (jpg/jpeg format, max 15 KB, dimensions 220×100 pixels).

  • Matriculation / 10th Certificate (age proof and name verification)
  • Graduation degree / Provisional Certificate (educational qualification proof)
  • SC / ST Caste Certificate (if applicable) – issued by competent State Government authority
  • EBC / BC Creamy Layer Exemption Certificate (if applicable)
  • EWS Income & Asset Certificate (if applicable) – issued by competent authority as per Annexure-I (Proforma-I)
  • Permanent Residential Address Proof (for Bihar domicile/reservation claims)
  • Freedom Fighter descendant proof (for Pota/Poti/Nati/Natini – grandfather’s freedom fighter certificate)
  • PwBD / Divyang Certificate (if applicable) – issued by Civil Surgeon/CMO of Government hospital
  • Age relaxation proof (if claiming upper age relaxation)
