Portal Registration (Mandatory)Trade Apprentices: 100% completed profile on NAPS portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) with Aadhaar verification and valid Enrollment Number. Graduate & Technician Apprentices: registered on NATS portal (nats.education.gov.in) with Enrollment Number.
Educational Qualification – Trade Apprentice (ITI Holders)Full-time ITI (National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT or State Trade Certificate issued by SCVT) from an institution recognized by State/Central Government in the relevant trade, passed during 2022–2026. Minimum 60% marks in qualifying exam (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Equivalency Certificate required if qualification is equivalent.
Educational Qualification – Graduate Apprentice (B.Tech/B.E.)B.Tech/B.E. Degree in Engineering/Technology granted by a statutory University or institution empowered by an Act of Parliament in the relevant discipline, passed during 2022–2026. CGPA/OGPA/CPI: if University defines conversion criteria, that is used; otherwise CGPA × 10 = % of marks.
Educational Qualification – Technician Apprentice (Diploma Holders)Diploma in Engineering in the relevant discipline from a recognized institution, passed during 2022–2026. Percentage of marks in qualifying exam is mandatory – must be entered in the “% of Marks/CGPA” column on NATS portal; if not furnished, candidature will not be considered.
Prior ApprenticeshipCandidates who have already undergone OR are currently undergoing Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act in any Government, Public Sector, or Private Organisation are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.
Minimum MarksGeneral/OBC/EWS: Minimum 60% (1st Class) in qualifying exam. SC/ST/PwBD: Minimum 50% (2nd Class) in qualifying exam.
