Age Limit
Candidates wondering about age relaxation can note the following: SC/ST candidates get 5 years’ relaxation, OBC-NCL candidates get 3 years, PwBD (UR) candidates get 10 years, PwBD (OBC-NCL) candidates get 13 years, and PwBD (SC/ST) candidates get 15 years. The maximum age after all cumulative relaxations shall not exceed 56 years. Candidates domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir between 1 January 1980 and 31 December 1989 are also eligible for 5 years’ relaxation.
POST DETAILS, ELIGIBILITY and QUALIFICATION:
Group A – Research Officers
- Research Officer (Unani): PG Degree (MD or MS) in Unani System of Medicine from a university/institution recognized by NCISM (formerly CCIM), plus enrolment on the Central Registrar of NCISM/CCIM or State Register of Unani/ISM. Age: up to 40 years (Government servants get 5 years’ relaxation).
- Research Officer (Pathology): MD in Pathology from an MCI-recognized university. Enrolment on Central Register of MCI or State Register of Medical Council. Age: up to 40 years.
- Research Officer (Physiology): Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology / Biotechnology / Human Genetics / Genetics Engineering from a recognized institution, plus 3 years’ post-Master’s research experience OR a Ph.D. in the relevant subject. Age: up to 40 years.
Group B – Key Posts
- Asst. Research Officer (Pharmacology): M.Sc. in Pharmacology or M.V.Sc from a recognized university. Age: up to 30 years.
- Asst. Research Officer (Pharmacognosy/Botany): Master’s Degree in the concerned discipline plus 3 years’ research/teaching experience OR a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline. Age: up to 35 years.
- Staff Nurse: B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing / Regular B.Sc. Nursing / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing OR Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery from a recognized institution, registered as Nurse/Nurse & Midwife with State Nursing Council, plus 1 year’s experience in a minimum 50-bed hospital. Age: up to 35 years.
- Accounts Officer (HQ): Degree from a recognized university plus 3 years’ experience in Cash, Accounts, and Budget work in a Government Office / PSU / Autonomous Body. Age: up to 30 years (5-year relaxation for CCRUM employees).
- MLT: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science with 2 years’ relevant experience. Age: up to 35 years.
- Library & Information Assistant: Degree from a recognized university plus Degree in Library Science. Age: up to 28 years.
Group C – Key Posts
- UDC: Degree from a recognized university. Age: between 18 and 27 years.
- LDC: 12th class pass with typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer. Age: between 18 and 27 years.
- Stenographer Grade-III: Matric/equivalent plus shorthand speed of 80 wpm and typewriting speed of 40 wpm. Age: up to 28 years.
- Staff Car Driver: Matriculation pass, valid driving license for Motor Cars/LMV, 3 years’ motor car driving experience, knowledge of vehicle maintenance. Age: between 18 and 25 years.
- MTS: Matriculation/equivalent pass OR ITI pass in relevant subject. Age: between 18 and 25 years.
- Compounder: Matric or equivalent plus Certificate of Training as Compounder in Unani System of Medicine (minimum 1 year), plus 2 years’ experience preferably in a Unani Dispensary/Hospital. Age: 28 years and below.
- Pharmacist: 10+2 with Science plus 2-year Diploma in Pharmacy plus registration with State/Central Pharmacy Council. Age: between 18 and 25 years.
