FEES DETAILS

• The ECIL Advt. No. 07/2026 walk‑in notification does not prescribe any separate application fee for appearing in the selection process for these contract posts.
• Fee Status: Candidates are required to download the application form and attend the walk‑in with documents; there is no mention of any application or examination fee in the advertisement, so applicants should not pay any money to unauthorized persons or intermediaries and rely only on official ECIL instructions.

AGE DETAILS :

Age Limit

• Project Engineer – maximum 33 years;
• Technical Officer, Assistant Project Engineer and Senior Artisan – maximum 30 years.
• Age relaxation is 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, an additional 10 years for PwBD (40% and above) over category relaxation, and 5 years for candidates domiciled in J&K from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.

POST DETAILS, ELIGIBILITY and QUALIFICATION:

• Project Engineer on Contract (PE‑C): B.E./B.Tech with at least 60% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST where reserved) in relevant disciplines such as Electronics, ECE, ETC, EEE, E&I, CSE, IT, CSIT, Mechanical/Electrical with NDT Level‑II (for Kudankulam) along with a minimum of 3 years post‑qualification experience; apprenticeship in the relevant field up to 1 year is also counted as experience.
• Technical Officer on Contract (TO‑C): B.E./B.Tech with at least 60% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST where reserved) in Electronics/Electrical/ECE/ETC/EEE/E&I/CSE/IT and minimum 1 year post‑qualification experience; apprenticeship up to 1 year is countable towards experience.
• Assistant Project Engineer on Contract (APE‑C): Diploma with at least 60% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST where reserved) in ECE/ETC/Electronics/EEE/Instrumentation and minimum 1 year post‑qualification experience including relevant apprenticeship.
• Senior Artisan on Contract (SA‑C): ITI passed in Electronics, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Instrumentation or Radio & TV trades with minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience (including up to 1 year apprenticeship) in maintenance/repair of electronics, instrumentation systems, communication gadgets or computers.।

ECIL Recruitment 2026 Salary 2026

• Selected candidates under ECIL Contract Recruitment 2026 will receive consolidated monthly emoluments based on the post and contract year, along with limited benefits as per ECIL rules.
• Consolidated Emoluments: Project Engineer on Contract – Rs. 40,000 (1st year), Rs. 45,000 (2nd year), Rs. 50,000 (3rd year), Rs. 55,000 (4th year) plus a one‑time attire allowance of Rs. 8,400 after completion of at least six months; Technical Officer on Contract – Rs. 25,000 (1st year), Rs. 28,000 (2nd year), Rs. 31,000 (3rd & 4th years); Assistant Project Engineer – Rs. 25,506 per month; Senior Artisan – Rs. 23,368 per month, with APE‑C and SA‑C wages revised every six months as per CLC (Central) guidelines.

ECIL Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

• The ECIL Contract Recruitment 2026 selection for Project Engineer, Technical Officer, Assistant Project Engineer and Senior Artisan will be based on walk‑in registration, document verification and personal interview with a weighted merit system.
• Shortlisting & Evaluation: After on‑spot registration and successful verification of original documents, candidates will be evaluated on three components – (A) Qualification: 20% of aggregate percentage scored in BE/B.Tech/Diploma/ITI; (B) Relevant Experience: up to 30 marks based on post‑qualification experience as per post‑specific rules; and (C) Personal Interview: 50 marks.
• Final Merit & Offer: Final recommendations will be prepared in order of merit based on total score (A+B+C). Experience from purely academic internships, college projects etc. is not counted. Selected candidates will be engaged on fixed‑tenure contract and must be willing to work anywhere in India as per ECIL’s project requirements.

HOW TO APPLY

• Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria for ECIL Contract Recruitment 2026 (Advt. 07/2026) must appear personally at the designated zonal venues on the scheduled walk‑in dates with the prescribed application form and documents.
• Step 1 – Download ECIL Application Form: Visit the official ECIL website www.ecil.co.in, open the Careers/Recruitment section and download the application form for Advt. No. 07/2026. Take a printout and fill it neatly with all required details including post category, zone and location preference.
• Step 2 – Prepare Documents: Keep ready original and one set of self‑attested copies of 10th certificate (DOB proof), all qualification certificates and marksheets, CGPA‑to‑percentage conversion (if applicable), complete experience certificates with from‑to dates and post held, appointment order and recent payslips (if currently employed), caste (EWS/OBC/SC/ST) certificate, non‑creamy layer OBC certificate (not older than one year), PwBD certificate, Ex‑servicemen/ J&K domicile proof and valid government ID (Aadhaar/Passport etc.).
• Step 3 – Reach Walk‑in Venue in Time: Report to the respective ECIL Zonal Office (Mumbai, New Delhi, Bengaluru on 09 April 2026; Chennai on 18 April 2026) within the registration time 09:00 hrs to 11:30 hrs. Late reporting after 11:30 hrs will not be accepted under any circumstances.
• Step 4 – Registration & Document Verification: Submit the filled ECIL application form 2026, resume and document set at the registration desk. After successful verification, candidates will be allowed to attend the personal interview as part of the selection process.
• Step 5 – Attend Interview & Wait for Result: Appear for the interview as scheduled at the venue. Final selection will be based on the combined weightage of qualification, experience and interview performance. Shortlisted candidates will receive joining instructions from ECIL and must be prepared for posting at project locations anywhere in India.
